EVENTS

XOPS aims to increase the awareness, interest, and knowledge of students in Operations Management beyond classroom studies. It educates the students about the vital role of operations management in the industry. It conducts industry tours, paper writing contests, e-discussions, alumni talks, knowledge sharing sessions, workshops, and quizzes to generate students' interest in the area.Here are the glimpse of few events hosted by X-OPS.

AAROHAN

It is an intra-college case study based event for first yeat students designed to test their business awareness & stimulate the interest in operations management. It exposes the students to bring analytical case based approach to problem solving.

       This year there was a huge response from the first years who participated in ample numbers just after joining the B-School. Though it was one of their first interaction with the subject of Operations Management but they proved their mettle and won great prizes.

ASHWAMEDH

It is the flagship event of XOPS. It is an annual national seminar which brings together eminent personalities from diverse range of backgrounds, including academia, corporate, and the government sector. The primary objective is to facilitate a stimulating discussion of contemporary issues related to Operations. It addresses a broad range of issues including partnership models, education, research, technology transfer and economic development. The event also invites papers from all the major B-schools of the country on a selected topic.

Nirnay

It is an online business simulation game designed to test the critical thinking of the participants, where they are exposed to real life issues faced by an Operations Manager. The game tests the participants on different principles of Operation management like supply chain, demand supply, inventory management etc.

This year during Xpressions over 150 teams participated in this event making it one of the most played business simulation games across B-Schools.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
